Vic: Man dies after collison with truck
A man's died today when the car in which he was a passenger smashed into a truck westof Melbourne.
The collision occurred on Thompson Road, in Maude, north west of Bannockburn, at about2.30pm (AEST).
A police spokeswoman says both the truck and car drivers were taken to a nearby hospitalwith serious injuries.
She says another female passenger was trapped in the car for a short time, before beingairlifted to a Melbourne hospital.
A fourth passenger in the car was uninjured.
The identity of the dead man hasn't been released.
